Details Revealed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past
CD Projekt RED has released the first screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past following the project’s official Steam page launch. The release brings upgraded visuals, a new region, fresh narrative content, and expanded combat mechanics.
The store listing and new screenshots arrive one day after the studio debuted the first trailer for the expansion, highlighting significant graphical upgrades across the game world.
Geralt embarks on a new contract that leads him to Letten, a seemingly idyllic land concealing dark secrets. The journey also takes the witcher to Nettel, an unsettling mirror image of Letten. Both regions include new locations, quests, and hidden secrets.

The storyline centers heavily around Dandelion. A dark curse hangs over the bard’s homeland, and Geralt must uncover its origin. The narrative leans into difficult choices and their consequences, placing one of Geralt’s most vital friendships directly in jeopardy.
The release adds new weapons and unique mutagens to Geralt’s arsenal alongside improvements to performance, gameplay systems, and character progression.
