Some players contend that the DRM system was causing technical issues.
A recent update and the Endure & Defy expansion have launched for Company of Heroes 3, introducing four combat groups for online play along with cooperative missions and AI skirmishes.
Players have spotted a change that wasn’t listed in the patch notes — Denuvo has been removed from Company of Heroes 3.
It’s believed this stems from the DRM licence expiring. The game was previously published by SEGA, but publishing responsibilities now rest with the developer, Relic Entertainment.
For some reason, the Steam page for Company of Heroes 3 still lists Denuvo.
