Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Confirmed

Daredevil: Born Again has officially been approved for a third season, Marvel Studios’ head of streaming, television, and animation Brad Winderbaum confirmed to IGN. “In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3 and we start shooting next year,” Winderbaum said.

The follow-up to Netflix’s original Daredevil endured a rocky development path and was substantially retooled amid the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Initially conceived as an 18-episode run, the series’ structure shifted during production, so a 2026 return for season two was within expectations. After star Charlie Cox previously described season two as the show’s “final season,” many fans wondered whether Matt Murdock’s story was over — Winderbaum’s announcement makes it clear the character will continue into a third season. The series is slated to resume in 2026, and it will reunite familiar faces. Krysten Ritter is set to reprise Jessica Jones, rejoining the cast and reuniting part of the Defenders ensemble, according to Polygon. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is also expected to return and is reportedly attached to a separate television special in 2026. There’s no official confirmation yet about whether Mike Colter’s Luke Cage or Finn Jones’ Iron Fist will appear.
