Critical Role Reveals Characters for Campaign 4

Comment Views: 7

If you’ve been waiting for more on Critical Role’s Campaign 4, the cast has now revealed the full roster. After a string of enigmatic teasers, the 13-player ensemble’s new characters have been shown in full — and, true to form for a Dungeons & Dragons party, they’re inventive, eccentric, and visually striking.

Only last week the show offered cryptic hints about the group’s classes and personas in a puzzle-style teaser. While many guessed at possibilities, the official artwork — released across social platforms including X and Instagram — reveals characters that are far more distinctive than the speculation suggested. View the artwork and the official reveal below.

The newly revealed characters and their players are listed below:

  • Sir Julien Davinos — Matthew Mercer
  • Teor Pridesire — Travis Willingham
  • Murray Mag’nesson — Marisha Ray
  • Bolaire Lathalia — Taliesin Jaffe
  • Vaelus — Ashley Johnson
  • Halandil Fang — Liam O’Brien
  • Wicander Halovar — Sam Riegel
  • Thimble — Laura Bailey
  • Azune Nayar — Luis Carazo
  • Kattigan Vale — Robbie Daymond
  • Occtis Tachonis — Alexander Ward
  • Thaisha Lloy — Aabria Iyengar
  • Tyranny — Whitney Moore

This campaign will be guided by Brennan Lee Mulligan and takes place in a fresh setting distinct from the previous three Exandria-centered campaigns. Fans have already begun piecing together likely classes from earlier clues: some have identified Halandil Fang as a bard and Thaisha Lloy as a druid, while the artwork suggests Kattigan Vale might be a ranger and Sir Julien Davinos appears to favor a duelist’s fighting style. (See fan discussion here.)

The character illustrations were created by Loren Hontanilla (Solelle), and they’re gorgeously rendered. Critical Role Campaign 4 premieres on October 2, 2025; Beacon subscribers on Beacon.tv will be able to watch immediately, with concurrent broadcasts on Critical Role’s YouTube and Twitch. VODs are expected to be posted for all viewers the following Monday.
