Creation of a documentary about DMA Design and early R * logos

November 2021 is the real month of the retrospective. Of course, due to the reissue of The Trilogy. But not only. Now we are ready to dive into an even earlier period – the 90s.

Guys with channel NoClip announced that they are working on a documentary video about DMA Design (now Rockstar North – the main studio for the development of GTA). The authors promise a diversified work: there will be interviews and filming of the Scottish city of Dundee, where the history of the studio began (not to be confused with the recently purchased Rockstar Dundee, formerly known as Ruffian Games). The creators have already announcedthat the timing will be more than half an hour, and the main themes will be Lemmings (a series of games of the first half of the nineties, thanks to which the future developers of Grand Theft Auto made themselves public), Gta 1 and Gta 2…

Why should we pay attention to this project? Viewers are promised material that may be shown to the general public for the first time. It is provided by the Video Game History Foundation, an organization dedicated to collecting and preserving information related to the gaming industry. This week VGHF already shared logo drafts Rockstar Games.
