Cooperative Horror Game Invokyr Coming to Steam With Playable Demo
The cooperative psychological horror game Invokyr will launch in Steam Early Access on October 8, 2026, and a free demo is available now.
Set in an abandoned estate, the game traps players alongside a mysterious 1970s board game. What starts as a harmless pastime quickly turns into a fight for survival as each die roll triggers deadly threats, traps, and supernatural entities.
The main antagonist of the story is the Keeper, a mysterious ruler of the estate connected to the cursed game. To escape, players must follow her rules and ultimately face the powerful adversary.
Invokyr is designed for cooperative play, but teammates will not always have to help each other. Players can make decisions that make life harder for the rest of the group, and a character’s death does not necessarily mean the end of their participation.
Each session will be different thanks to randomized events, enemies, and challenges. By playing through the game, users can unlock new rewards and additional trials.
