The highly anticipated roster for Invincible VS has finally reached its full strength with the addition of the character fans have dreaded and desired in equal measure: Conquest. The menacing and unhinged Viltrumite warrior stands as the final fighter to join the base lineup, bringing a level of brutality that promises to shake the competitive meta.
Unveiled during a high-octane presentation at the Evo Awards, developer Quarter Up characterized Conquest as a relentless “pressure striker.” His kit is designed to suffocate opponents with overwhelming force. A standout ability is his signature charging strike, which gathers momentum and gains super armor protection the further it travels, making him a formidable wall of muscle that is nearly impossible to intercept.
With Conquest’s arrival, the 18-character launch day roster is officially set. Players will be able to master the following fighters on day one:
- Allen the Alien
- Anissa
- Atom Eve
- Battle Beast
- Bulletproof
- Cecil Stedman
- Conquest
- Dupli-Kate
- Ella Mental
- Invincible
- Lucan
- Monster Girl
- Omni-Man
- Powerplex
- Rex Splode
- Robot
- Thula
- Titan
The conflict doesn’t end at launch, however. Quarter Up has already begun detailing its Year 1 post-launch roadmap, confirming the first two DLC combatants: The Immortal and Universa. The Immortal is a long-standing veteran of the Guardians of the Globe, while Universa makes her debut following her recent introduction in Season 4 of the animated series.
For those eager to get their hands on the game early, an open beta is scheduled to run from April 9 to April 11. Participants can explore the Tutorial, Practice, and Ranked modes. The beta features 10 selectable characters—including Invincible, Omni-Man, and Battle Beast—across six diverse stages such as Ka-Hor’s Tomb and the Kinetic Chamber. As an added incentive, all beta participants will secure an exclusive character skin for Omni-Man.
Invincible VS is slated for release on April 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. For more in-depth coverage, including exclusive looks at Dupli-Kate’s gameplay mechanics and behind-the-scenes interviews regarding the game’s narrative campaign, stay tuned to our ongoing features.
