Code Vein II to Add New Mode and Bosses From Mask of Idris

Code Vein 2 is receiving a free Battle Rush mode named Trials of Remembrance as part of Update 2.0. The mode introduces battles against every boss from the base game alongside several opponents from the Mask of Idris DLC.

Trials of Remembrance serves as a challenge for players who have already completed the adventure. The new mode requires users to re-engage memorable bosses from the core game.

A primary feature involves several adversaries from Mask of Idris. Players must fight these opponents without potentially useful tools and advantages provided by the expansion.

Update 2.0 launches for free on September 9, 2026, simultaneously with Mask of Idris. The update and DLC will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The expansion will also add a new world and a companion.
