Representation issues, and Chrissy Teigen reached see that firsthand when her eight-year-old little girl, Luna, fulfilled Vice President and Democratic governmental candidate Kamala Harris at the White House this summer season.
“I’m still glowing from this moment when my Luna (in her adorable mini power suit) met VP Harris at the White House this past June,” Teigen captioned an Instagram picture on Tuesday (Aug 27), in which Luna is seen shaking a pink tweed jacket-and-skirt established as she grins up at Harris, that is encountering far from the electronic camera. “It’s a powerful reminder of what can happen when young girls are able to see themselves in the person who holds the highest office in the land. And my favorite part? Tearing up with the knowledge that this will be a photo Luna will look back on forever.”

Teigen proceeded that viewing Harris at the Democratic National Convention recently was “inspiring,” including, “From maternal and reproductive rights, to the economy (which she accurately highlights as a women’s issue), gun violence legislation, and affordable education, her dedication and vision gives me so much HOPE for the future.”
The Cravings writer wrapped up, “Kamala isn’t just the kind of role model I want for Luna, she’s also exactly the leader we all need right now. Now let’s go DO SOMETHING!”
