Chris Pratt Talks About Returning to Marvel
Chris Pratt will once again play Peter Quill, better known as Star-Lord, in an upcoming Marvel project. The actor confirmed that the studio has already taken concrete steps to bring the character back to the screen, though he isn’t ready to say when he will appear.
“I have a wonderful relationship with Kevin Feige and Lou D’Esposito. We keep talking about how to keep the promise of bringing the character back, and we’ve already taken serious steps in that direction. So you will see Star-Lord again. I can’t say when yet, but he isn’t going anywhere,”
Pratt said.
The actor last appeared in the role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, released in 2023. In the film’s finale, Peter Quill leaves the team and returns to Earth to mend his relationship with his grandfather. A post-credits message promised audiences that the legendary Star-Lord would return, but Marvel has yet to announce which project will bring him back. Pratt’s involvement in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars has not been officially confirmed.
