Charlie Puth has officially called off his scheduled performance in Orlando, Florida, this Saturday, June 6. The singer-songwriter cited a persistent illness that has lingered for several days, noting that he was under strict medical orders to prioritize rest to ensure he can fulfill the remaining dates of his Whatever’s Clever! World Tour.

Sharing the disappointing news via an Instagram Story on Saturday, Puth expressed his frustration: “I am absolutely devastated to share this, but I have no choice but to cancel tonight’s show. I’ve been battling an illness for the past few days, and my medical team has insisted I take time to recover now to avoid compromising the rest of the tour.”

He added a heartfelt message to his fans: “Connecting with you all every night is everything to me, and I want to deliver the best possible experience. I am heartbroken, but I simply cannot perform. Without my voice, I cannot provide the show you deserve.”

“I am deeply sorry. This was a difficult call to make, but I look forward to returning as soon as I am back to full health,” he concluded.

The Addition Financial Arena in Orlando confirmed the cancellation on social media, advising ticketholders to seek refunds directly through their original point of purchase. The venue clarified that there are no current plans to reschedule the missed date.

Puth is slated to resume his tour in Nashville on June 9, followed by a series of performances in Texas before heading to Europe for the international leg of his tour.

The star recently delivered a memorable set at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where he surprised the crowd by bringing out icons such as Art Garfunkel, Jimmy Fallon, Busta Rhymes, and Kirk Franklin.
