Capcom Shows Gameplay of Resident Evil 3 Remake on Nintendo Switch 2
Judging by the presented video, the developers managed to port the horror game to the new platform without major technical compromises.
Capcom has released new gameplay footage of the Resident Evil 3 remake for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will launch on the console on October 16 alongside the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4.
The published video shows Jill Valentine trying to escape from Nemesis on the streets of a ruined Raccoon City. The heroine makes her way past shattered shop windows and destroyed buildings while trying to avoid the monster pursuing her. The recording offers a look at how the remake runs and appears on Nintendo’s portable console.
The original Resident Evil 3 remake was released in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In 2022, the game also arrived on the first Nintendo Switch, but only as a cloud version that required a stable internet connection. The Switch 2 version will run natively on the console, meaning a constant network connection will not be required to play.
