Capcom Schedules Resident Evil Requiem Showcase for Thursday

Resident Evil Requiem has solidified its status as one of the most anticipated titles of 2026, and survival horror fans won’t have to wait much longer for its February debut. While a cinematic reveal at The Game Awards confirmed that Leon S. Kennedy is returning to the spotlight, many details about the sequel remain under wraps. Fortunately, fresh intel is imminent.
Capcom has officially scheduled a dedicated Resident Evil Showcase for this Thursday, January 15, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.
The event will be broadcast live via Capcom’s official Twitch channel. To get a taste of what’s coming, you can view the brief teaser trailer below:
The showcase promises a first look at “unseen gameplay footage and major updates for Resident Evil Requiem,” according to the video’s description. Capcom’s website further notes that the presentation will run for approximately 12 minutes. While the title “Resident Evil Showcase” leaves the door open for other franchise news, the short runtime suggests a concentrated focus on Requiem. We’ll know for certain when the stream goes live this Thursday.
