FYQD-Studio has unveiled the first glimpses of its upcoming project—a third-person shooter focused on high-octane action. Set during a period of “turmoil and crumbling order,” the developers describe a world where “rival gangs clash in the shadows, while violence and conspiracies quietly permeate the streets.”
The game draws inspiration from the historical backdrop of the Republic of China’s formation in 1912. However, the developers are quick to clarify that the narrative and all game elements are entirely fictional and unrelated to real-world history. This era serves merely as a stylistic setting, with the primary focus remaining on the third-person combat experience.
Currently, the team is prioritizing visual fidelity and motion capture performance. While a release date has yet to be announced, early footage suggests a more “grounded” experience compared to the studio’s previous work, Bright Memory: Infinite. That 2021 title, which launched on PC and later on consoles, was known for its blend of first-person gunplay, melee combat, and supernatural adversaries.
