Block Blast Holds the Crown: Most Popular Mobile Games of December Announced
Market analysts have finalized the mobile game download figures for December 2025, identifying the month’s most successful titles by installation volume.
According to data from the analytical platform AppMagic, as reported by Mobilegamer.biz, the December rankings for the most-downloaded mobile games have been released. Following industry standards, these statistics do not include data from the Chinese Android market.
Block Blast claimed the top spot once again, delivering one of its most impressive monthly performances to date with over 38 million installations. This figure is only slightly below its all-time record of 42.5 million set in April, reaffirming the game’s position as a juggernaut in the casual genre.
Roblox held firm in second place, amassing nearly 24 million downloads. While the winter holiday growth was more conservative than some anticipated, the platform still outperformed its December 2024 results, which stood at 21.7 million installs.
Rounding out the top three is Garena’s Free Fire. A consistent top-performer throughout the year, the battle royale title garnered roughly 22 million downloads in December—a steady result, though trailing behind its summer peak of 27 million.
Among the month’s breakout successes, analysts pointed to School Party Craft and Block Crazy Robo World Craft, both of which cleared the 10-million-download mark. These projects derive heavy inspiration from sandbox staples like Minecraft and Roblox, focusing on creative freedom, user-generated content, and social connectivity.
