BLACKPINK’s Jennie Joins Viral ‘Dracula’ Trend Featuring Tame Impala Collaboration

Jennie may be known for her chic, mysterious aura, but she is never one to shy away from a viral moment. On Monday (March 9), the BLACKPINK sensation shared a new video showcasing her take on a trending TikTok format, set to her popular collaboration with Tame Impala, all while radiating elegance during Paris Fashion Week.
In the short clip, the K-pop powerhouse models an intricate, shimmering netted ensemble—a top and matching skirt—that she debuted at Chanel’s runway show earlier that day. Lip-syncing to her specific verse from the “Dracula” remix released in February, Jennie delivers the line, “My friends are saying, ‘Shut up, JENNIE, just get in the car,’” with a playful swagger. She commands the frame, strutting toward the camera with the effortless poise of a global fashion icon.
“Jumping on this trend,” the singer captioned the post, punctuated with a shy emoji.
Jennie’s contribution adds to the thousands of fan-made videos that have propelled the track’s continued relevance. This social media momentum has been a key factor in the enduring chart success of “Dracula.” After reaching a peak of No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November, the song has maintained a solid presence on the tally for months. In the most recent rankings for the week of March 14, the collaboration remains a force at No. 37.
While taking in the Chanel presentation, Jennie was spotted in high-profile company, seated alongside The Idol co-star Lily-Rose Depp, Margot Robbie, and Olivia Dean. The French capital has become a hub for A-list talent this week; in addition to Jennie, her BLACKPINK bandmate Rosé has made appearances, alongside stars like Chappell Roan, mgk, and Teyana Taylor.
Beyond the “Dracula” craze, Jennie has been keeping fans busy with a string of major releases. On March 6, she launched Ruby (The Complete Collection) to celebrate the first anniversary of her debut solo project. This follows the long-awaited return of BLACKPINK in February, when the group dropped their latest mini-album, DEADLINE.
