BLACKPINK Explores the Cosmos in Cinematic ‘Go’ Music Video Teaser
BLACKPINK is offering fans a celestial glimpse into their next era with the release of a high-concept teaser for their upcoming single, “Go.” Unveiled on Monday (Feb. 23), the preview sets the stage for a grand return as the global icons prepare to dominate the charts once again.
The visual vignette features a sweeping orchestral score that underscores a series of surreal, sci-fi-inspired sequences. Imagery of turbulent tides merging with swirling galaxies transitions into mysterious figures rowing through the vacuum of space. Members ROSÉ, JISOO, JENNIE, and LISA are showcased in ethereal, futuristic environments, culminating in a powerful shot of the quartet standing together in avant-garde black attire, holding oars that intersect in a sharp, geometric formation.
Set to premiere this Friday (Feb. 27) alongside their new mini-album DEADLINE, “Go” serves as the follow-up to the hit single “Jump.” That track previously reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and secured the top spot on the Billboard Global 200. This new teaser maintains the “sensual” and “irresistible” aesthetic previously teased by YG Entertainment, signaling a sophisticated evolution for the group.
This project marks the group’s first major collective release since 2022’s Born Pink, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In the time since, the members have flourished through individual creative pursuits. Each member launched solo music, while LISA, JENNIE, and JISOO expanded their portfolios into acting with roles in The White Lotus, The Idol, and Boyfriend on Demand, respectively.
