Black Ops 7 Discounted Two Weeks After Release — and Not as a Black Friday Deal
On the eve of the launch, Activision insisted the Call of Duty franchise was too entrenched to fail and said it had no concerns about competing with Battlefield 6.
Although Black Ops 7 only launched two weeks ago, Activision has already applied a 15% discount to the new shooter — and this is not a Black Friday promotion. The offer is valid through December 2.
The new Call of Duty is far from stellar. Earlier reports indicate that sales in the EU are 63% lower than those of Battlefield 6 and roughly 50% below Black Ops 6 when combining digital and physical formats. In the UK, digital sales have plunged by 61% compared with BO6. In Japan, Black Ops 7 recorded its weakest performance in two decades.
