Fans of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn from the Warhammer 40,000 setting can now preview the illustrated edition’s cover for Ordo Hereticus, along with several newly revealed illustrations.
More than two decades ago readers were introduced to Gregor Eisenhorn — the central figure of the Warhammer 40,000 “Inquisitor” novels — a relentless hunter of Chaos and its adherents.
Illustrated editions of Ordo Xenos and Ordo Malleus have already been produced, and Black Library has now turned its attention to Ordo Hereticus.
The illustrated Ordo Hereticus — the closing volume of the Eisenhorn trilogy — will be issued in a hardcover edition featuring a newly designed foil-stamped cover, red page edges, and a ribbon bookmark.
The edition includes 14 brand-new illustrations that expand the story, along with the author’s notes, annotations, and an afterword by Dan Abnett that sheds light on the writing process. Pre-orders for the illustrated Ordo Hereticus are expected to open soon.
