Beyoncé Joins Taylor Swift and Rihanna on List of Richest Self-Made Women

Beyoncé is continuing to stack her impressive fortune. The global icon has officially secured a spot on Forbes’ prestigious annual ranking of the wealthiest self-made women in America, joining the elite company of fellow industry powerhouses like Taylor Swift and Rihanna.

The magazine confirmed this milestone on Thursday (June 4), valuing the superstar’s net worth at an estimated $1 billion—a figure consistent with the billionaire status the publication previously attributed to her late last year.

“The vast majority of Beyoncé’s wealth is the result of a career spanning three decades as a solo artist and her foundational years with Destiny’s Child,” Forbes reported. Her financial growth reached new heights following the massive success of her 2025 Cowboy Carter tour, which generated over $450 million in combined ticket and merchandise revenue.

Currently tied with Rihanna at the No. 39 position on the list, both stars trail Taylor Swift, whose valuation sits at approximately $2 billion. Other influential figures featured on this year’s index include media mogul Oprah Winfrey and business titan Kim Kardashian.

“We are witnessing a profound evolution in wealth creation,” noted Forbes executive editor Luisa Kroll. “Women are increasingly building ten-figure enterprises across dynamic sectors like artificial intelligence and digital platforms, effectively leveraging their personal brands into expansive business empires.”

Beyond her own endeavors, Beyoncé’s household wealth is further bolstered by her husband, Jay-Z, a self-made billionaire with extensive stakes in the music industry and various high-profile ventures through Roc Nation. As she celebrates this financial milestone, fans remain on edge, eagerly awaiting news on the final chapter of her acclaimed musical trilogy, which follows the chart-topping success of Renaissance and Cowboy Carter.
