Bella Hadid has openly admitted she’s hooked on Taylor Swift’s runaway single “The Fate of Ophelia,” and she proved it with a playful TikTok that’s already spreading across the platform.

In the clip, Hadid kneels on a stretch of sand beside a friend and moves through the song’s viral choreography, beaming as she lipsyncs along. Her energy and smile capture why the routine has become a social-media staple.

In the post’s caption she effusively praised Swift’s track, writing, “TAYLOR GIRL what did you put in this song it’s taking over my life.” Hadid added that the tune feels like it’s “possibly changing my brain chemistry as we speak.”

Swift and the Hadid sisters have been friendly for years. When Swift released Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in 2021, Bella celebrated the nostalgic reissue on her Instagram Story, noting how powerful and moving the project felt.

The single’s staying power is clear: “The Fate of Ophelia” has dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for multiple weeks, while the parent album Showgirl has remained atop the Billboard 200. A big reason for both feats is the song’s choreography — Swift introduced the moves in a theatrical music video and amplified them on her own TikTok, encouraging fans and fellow celebrities to recreate the routine.

The dance even made its way into sports: in October, Travis Kelce celebrated a touchdown by performing the “Ophelia” steps in the end zone, a moment that helped fuel the trend beyond the app.
