Season 3 of Battlefield 6 arrives on May 12 with Game Update 1.3.1.0. This major release introduces a wealth of new content and significant technical refinements, including the debut of Ranked Battle Royale Quads, the expansive “Railway to Golmud” map, additional weaponry, and a fresh Battle Pass.
Players can begin downloading the update across all platforms at 09:00 UTC. The new content—including the map, Ranked mode, gear, and Battle Pass—will be fully accessible starting at 12:00 UTC.
Beyond the new additions, this update implements comprehensive improvements to vehicle handling, gadget utility, AI behavior, netcode stability, gameplay balance, UI responsiveness, and audio fidelity, collectively enhancing the overall Battlefield 6 experience.
New Content
Season 3 launches with Warlords: Supremacy, the first chapter of a three-part narrative arc defining the season. As PAX Warlords escalate the conflict to a global scale, squads must fight for dominance on the largest map in Battlefield 6 history. Coupled with the introduction of Ranked Battle Royale, new armaments to master, and the return of the Dagger 13 (unlockable via the Battle Pass), Warlords: Supremacy sets a high-stakes tone for the combat ahead.
Battle Pass
Embark on your journey with a new Battle Pass offering over 100 tiers of rewards. Progress from the Recruit Path through four themed tracks to earn advanced hardware, weapon packages, soldier skins, and XP boosts. This season also brings quality-of-life improvements to the Battle Pass, featuring revamped navigation, refined path presentation, and corrections to menu pricing.
Battlefield Pro
For those looking to maximize their seasonal progression, Battlefield Pro offers an enhanced experience, including 25 Tier Skips, a +5% XP Booster, six instant unlocks, exclusive Assignments, additional Challenge rerolls, a custom Vehicle Radio Station, access to a Bonus Path, and support for hosting 100-player Portal matches.
New Map: Railway to Golmud
Battlefield 6’s most expansive map to date, Railway to Golmud, brings large-scale combined arms warfare to the forefront. Featuring a blend of ruined villages, scarred rolling hills ideal for armor engagements, and a dense industrial zone designed for tight combat, the map also includes a dynamic, moving railway that serves as a critical strategic objective.

Ranked Battle Royale Quads marks a new era for competitive Battlefield 6. Squad up to climb the leaderboard, earn permanent rewards, and influence the future of the game mode through BF Labs. From Rookie to Master, and up to the elite 250 leaderboard tier, prove your tactical superiority.

- Expanded Competitive Play: Ranked Battle Royale Quads arrives with comprehensive updates to looting, scoring, anti-vehicle drops, and the downed state for a more consistent match flow.
- Vehicle Overhaul: Both land and air vehicles have received extensive tuning to improve handling, damage predictability, and survivability.
- Gadget Rebalancing: Launchers, mines, and utility gadgets have been reworked to ensure more distinct roles and improved combat consistency.
