Battlefield 6 – Anti-Cheat Metrics – August

Comment Views: 0

Greetings Soldier,

As August and Season 4 rolled on, the introduction of Naval Combat brought thrilling new vehicles and fresh gameplay dynamics. Unfortunately, major updates also present malicious actors with new avenues to attempt exploits.

Following the July deployment, our Match Infection Rate (MIR) concluded at 4.76% and subsequently stabilized at 4.64% as August commenced.

For a deeper dive into the mechanics behind these fluctuations, please review our comprehensive January update.

August: Performance & Impact

Match Infection Rate (MIR): The proportion of matches adversely affected by at least one cheater. This metric encompasses all suspected cheaters flagged by the community, including reports where definitive enforcement evidence is still pending.

Beginning August at 4.64%, the MIR experienced a steady, downward trajectory, bottoming out at an impressive 2.89% on August 25th. As the month drew to a close on August 31st, the metric adjusted slightly to finish at 3.24%.

Throughout August, the EA Javelin Anti-Cheat system successfully intercepted and blocked 327,756 tampering attempts before they could infiltrate your matches. Currently, our security teams are actively monitoring 110 (+6) distinct cheat programs, hardware bypasses, developers, and reseller networks. Of those tracked, 105 (+5) are currently experiencing major feature failures, detection flags, prolonged downtime, or have been completely forced offline—representing a 95.45% disruption rate. Keep the fight fair—see you on the Battlefield.
