Cosplayer Mikhail Medvedev and photographer Danila Potyomkin have put together a treat for fans of The Witcher. This time they portray the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia confronting danger deep within a treacherous forest.
Photographer Danila Potyomkin has released a new series of images inspired by the renowned Witcher book universe—a world that has since spawned a TV series and multiple games.
In the shots, cosplayer Mikhail Medvedev embodies Geralt—likely modeled after the RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—who faces a menacing, leshy-like creature amid the trees.
Geralt—known as the White Wolf and the Butcher of Blaviken—is a witcher of the School of the Wolf and a master of two-sword combat. His mutations grant him heightened strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and stamina.
Outwardly cynical, reserved, and stoic—shaped by social rejection and a hard life—he remains, at his core, honorable, prone to sudden impulses, and capable of self-sacrifice.
He follows a personal code of honor, shuns senseless killing, and is devoted to Yennefer and Ciri as family—showing compassion for the weak despite his fearsome reputation.
