Bandai Namco Unveils “Age 1000”: A Bold New Chapter in the Dragon Ball Saga

During the recent Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri festivities, Bandai Namco stunned the audience by premiering a cryptic teaser for their next major project. Currently titled Age 1000, this enigmatic entry in the franchise is slated for a 2027 release.

The footage centers on a fresh protagonist designed by the legendary late creator, Akira Toriyama. This white-haired youth sports attire featuring the Capsule Corp insignia—bearing a subtle resemblance to Gohan’s iconic Great Saiyaman gear. The trailer showcases the hero effortlessly dismantling masked adversaries within a high-tech digital simulation before culminating in a powerful Super Saiyan transformation. To heighten the intrigue, the teaser concludes with a fleeting glimpse of Goku’s unmistakable silhouette.

“The Dragon Ball universe continues to evolve with an entirely original world and a cast of unique characters, all envisioned by Akira Toriyama,” Bandai Namco’s official press release stated. “Scheduled for 2027, the ‘Age 1000’ project will introduce players to a burgeoning adventure filled with fresh faces and untold stories.”
