Ariana Grande Says ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Tour Will Be Her Final Hurrah

Ariana Grande Calls 2026 Dates a Possible “Last Hurrah” as She Eyes Acting

Updated Nov. 18 — Interview on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast

After completing a short run of shows next year, Ariana Grande suggested she may step back from large-scale touring for the foreseeable future.

Speaking on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast (posted Nov. 18), Grande said, “I’m going to do a small stint of shows next year, because that is something that sounded authentically good to me.” She explained that while she’s excited to perform for fans in 2026, she doesn’t foresee frequent tours following the promotion of her Eternal Sunshine album.

Grande described a shifting creative focus: her pop career dominated much of the last decade, and now she wants space to pursue acting and other artistic projects. She reflected that the next phase of her life and work will likely look very different from the past 10–15 years.

“I don’t want to say any definitive things,” she added, acknowledging uncertainty about long-term plans. Still, she made clear her intention to give this upcoming run everything she has, calling it, in effect, “one last hurrah — for now.”

The singer has previously hinted at stepping away from pop music in favor of other creative pursuits. After the 2020 Positions album, Grande once believed she might stop making records, but portraying Glinda in the Wicked films — the second installment premieres Nov. 21 — rekindled her drive to write and record, which ultimately led to Eternal Sunshine.

Grande has also been selective about touring; she has not toured since the Sweetener World Tour concluded in 2019. In 2024 she told Variety she expected to explore different art forms and that acting “is feeling like home right now.”

In August she announced a limited Eternal Sunshine tour scheduled to run from June through August next year, with dates planned in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Montreal, London and several other cities.
