Ariana Grande Reflects on the Emotional Launch of Her Eternal Sunshine Tour

Following a highly anticipated opening night, Ariana Grande is basking in the glow of her long-awaited Eternal Sunshine Tour.
The pop superstar took to Instagram on Sunday, June 7, to share a series of evocative snapshots from her visually stunning show in Oakland, California. Expressing her profound gratitude, she wrote, “It feels impossible to find the words right now… so for the moment, just thank you.”
“From the depths of my heart, I love you all more than I can express,” she added. “I’ve missed you so much. Thank you.”
Throughout the performance, the Wicked star cycled through a variety of high-fashion looks while delivering a career-spanning setlist. Fans were treated to tracks from her latest record, Eternal Sunshine, alongside the debut of “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” the lead single from her forthcoming project, Petal. The evening also featured fan-favorite anthems, including “Into You,” “Dangerous Woman,” “Break Free,” and “One Last Time.”
The atmosphere at Oakland Arena was undeniably moving, marking a triumphant return to the stage after a multi-year touring hiatus. Visibly emotional during a roaring standing ovation, Grande confessed, “I am overwhelmed. Thank you so much for being here.”
The Grammy winner is set to continue her run in the Bay Area before heading to Los Angeles for performances at the Crypto.com Arena and the Kia Forum. Her expansive itinerary includes stops in Austin, Brooklyn, and Chicago, with the tour eventually culminating in a spectacular ten-night residency at London’s O2 Arena.
