Ariana Grande Launches Brighter Days Ahead Foundation to Support LGBTQ+ Rights and Mental Health

Ariana Grande is extending her reach beyond music, officially launching a new philanthropic initiative, the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation. The project is dedicated to advocating for LGBTQ+ rights, bolstering mental health access, and providing critical resources to those in need.

The pop icon shared the news via social media on Friday, expressing her enthusiasm for the new chapter. “I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead foundation,” Grande stated. “Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our most vulnerable friends. Through our four specialized funds, we are partnering with incredible organizations to ensure people receive the care and safe spaces they deserve.”

Core Initiatives of the Foundation

  • Protect & Defend Fund: Empowers grassroots activists working in civil rights, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and reproductive justice.
  • Heal & Dream Fund: Focuses on expanding mental health care accessibility and community support systems.
  • Seen & Celebrated Fund: Amplifies the voices and stories of the LGBTQ+ community, with current partners including the Gender Liberation Movement and SAGE USA.
  • Emergency Support Fund: Designed for rapid, situational responses to urgent global crises, supporting organizations like the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Save the Children UK.

Reflecting on her long-standing commitment to these causes, Grande noted, “It has been my privilege to support these efforts personally over the years. I am deeply grateful to now expand that impact and amplify the life-saving work performed by these partners.”

A comprehensive list of the supported organizations can be found on the official foundation website.

Known for her vocal stance on social issues, the Wicked star continues to leverage her platform to drive change. Whether she is advocating for reproductive rights or pushing back against the misappropriation of her music by political entities, Grande remains a steadfast advocate for her beliefs.

This philanthropic milestone follows a busy week for the artist, who recently debuted her Eternal Sunshine Tour following the massive success of her 2024 album. With her upcoming album Petal arriving in July—following the chart-topping success of her latest single, “Hate That I Made You Love Me”—Grande is clearly balancing her artistic career with a renewed focus on humanitarian action.
