Anbernic RG Vita and RG Vita Pro Handheld Consoles Get Trailer With Full Specifications
Following a fresh reveal from the Anbernic team, retro gaming enthusiasts have gained a closer look at the upcoming RG Vita and RG Vita Pro handheld consoles, both of which are expected to hit the market in the very near future.
Anbernic has released a new trailer dedicated to the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro portables. The footage showcases the devices from multiple angles and provides a comprehensive breakdown of their technical specifications.
The standard RG Vita features a 5.46-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, it packs a Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU, complemented by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5, runs on Android 12, and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
The RG Vita Pro elevates the experience with a 5.46-inch 1080p (1920×1080) display. It utilizes a more powerful RK3576 processor and Mali-G52 MC3 graphics, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This model upgrades connectivity to Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, offers dual-boot capabilities with Android 14 and Linux, and supports 18W fast charging for its 5000 mAh battery.
Both iterations include a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB for library expansion. The consoles are designed to emulate a wide range of platforms, including PS2, Wii, GameCube, 3DS, PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn, PS1, NDS, and N64, alongside classic systems such as Neo Geo, GBA, Mega Drive, and various arcade formats.
