Alpha Nomos brings rhythm combat to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series on October 12
RibCage Games will release Alpha Nomos on October 12 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A demo of the rhythm-action roguelite is available on Steam.
Players take control of Cello, who fights corrupted puppets in a world where music has fallen silent. Her journey passes through ruined cities and a corrupted circus, with increasingly difficult arenas and a choice of upgrades along the way.
Attacks, dodges and abilities follow the beat. Weapons draw on recordings of real instruments, while effects such as Reverb, Flanger and Delay change both the moveset and the music. Totem Warriors recorded the soundtrack with live performers.
The game includes a timing-offset calibration option to align its rhythm cues with the player’s setup. RibCage Games has also released a new trailer ahead of launch.
