Alex Garland and A24 Have Finished Filming “Elden Ring”
Principal photography for the highly anticipated film adaptation of the video game *Elden Ring* has officially concluded. Various media outlets confirmed the news, citing insights from a member of the production crew.
The project is helmed by visionary director Alex Garland, acclaimed for his work on *Civil War*, *Ex Machina*, and other standout features. The A24 production is slated to make its grand debut in theaters worldwide on March 3, 2028.
First released in February 2022, *Elden Ring* immerses players in the mystical Lands Between, a realm governed by powerful demigods. The fate of this fractured world hinges on the legendary Elden Ring, now shattered into potent shards. The narrative follows a protagonist known as the Tarnished, who must embark on an epic quest to restore the Ring and ascend as the new Elden Lord.
The original game was co-created by *Game of Thrones* author George R.R. Martin, who is serving as a producer on the cinematic adaptation. The star-studded cast features Kit Connor (*Warheart*), Cailee Spaeny (*Alien: Romulus*), Ben Whishaw (*Perfume: The Story of a Murderer*), Tom Burke, and Nick Offerman, among others.
