Actor Confirms Dandelion’s Return in The Witcher 4 via Voice Recording

The character will first appear in an expansion for The Witcher 3.

CD Projekt RED is in no rush to reveal all the story details for The Witcher 4, but players are gradually getting information from other sources. Recently, for instance, Witcher fans turned their attention to the Polish actor who voices one of the franchise’s characters.

Jacek Kopczyński, who plays Dandelion, participated in the PSX Extreme Party 2026 event in Warsaw held this month. During a conversation with a Polish journalist, the actor shared that he has already recorded several lines for Dandelion in The Witcher 4.

It remains unclear whether this statement was coordinated with CD Projekt RED or if the actor accidentally revealed Dandelion’s appearance in The Witcher 4. Jacek also did not share how substantial his character’s role will be in the new installment of the franchise.

There is also another point: Jacek Kopczyński has not yet recorded lines for the upcoming Songs of the Past expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Notably, Doug Cockle and John Schwab have already recorded lines for Geralt and Dandelion in the English voice cast.

The release of the Songs of the Past expansion is expected in 2027, while CD Projekt RED aims to release The Witcher 4 in 2028.
