Acer Announces Predator Atlas 7 Handheld PC with 7-Inch Display

In 2026, gamers will receive the Predator Atlas 7 handheld PC from Acer, featuring up to 24 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, Intel Arc G3 or Arc G3 Extreme graphics, TMR joysticks, and a 7-inch FHD touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Acer has introduced the Predator Atlas 7, a smaller version of its Predator Atlas 8 Windows 11 handheld gaming PC. Buyers can choose from models equipped with Intel Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme processors paired with Arc B370 and B390 integrated graphics, respectively.

The device includes a dual-fan cooling system featuring a metal Predator AeroBlade fan with 89 blades just 0.1 mm thick, alongside a plastic fan utilizing Vortex Flow technology, which directs internal channels to expel hot air more effectively.

The Predator Atlas 7 includes a battery capacity of up to 80 Wh for extended on-the-go gaming sessions without interruption, and a 60 Wh battery configuration will also be available.

The new hardware is designed for more intuitive handling. Contoured grips, an expanded palm rest area, recessed keys, and a non-slip texture help players maintain a stable hand position for more precise input and better control during long sessions.

The joysticks come with tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) options for greater accuracy, usability, and drift protection with zero dead zones, while Hall effect analog triggers support genres that demand a greater travel range and varied press force.

The device also offers a built-in fingerprint scanner on the power button for fast and secure logins via Windows Hello. The Predator Atlas 7 features a 7-inch FHD touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 500 nits, variable refresh rate (VRR) support, and a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a DXC coating for scratch resistance and reduced glare, and a tempered glass screen protector is included in the package. Touch input supports 10-point multi-touch for responsive and intuitive interaction across the entire display surface.

The device is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 ports for high-speed docking, video output, and accessory connections, while microSD UHS-II support provides fast external storage expansion. Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 modules handle wireless connectivity according to the latest standards.

For audio, the device features DTS:X Ultra technology through two 2 W speakers, adding greater depth, detail, and immersion to games. Dual microphones powered by Acer PurifiedVoice technology provide AI-driven noise cancellation.

The Atlas 7 offers up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. The dimensions of the device are 292 × 112.7–123 × 28.5–48.4 mm. Weight is under 750 g with the 80 Wh battery and under 700 g with the 60 Wh battery. The Predator Atlas 7 will launch in North America in the fourth quarter of 2026, and in the EMEA region in November 2026. Pricing details remain unknown at this time.
