A Quiet Place Part 3 Adds New Cast and Sets 2027 Release Date

The harrowing, silent world created by John Krasinski is set to expand once more. The writer-director recently confirmed that A Quiet Place Part III will arrive in theaters in 2027. The upcoming sequel marks the return of the central Abbott family, with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe reprising their roles, alongside Cillian Murphy, who joined the survivalist ranks in the previous installment.

Beyond the returning veterans, the cast is welcoming several high-profile newcomers. Krasinski revealed that Jack O’Connell (28 Years Later), Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), and Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding) have officially joined the project. Sharing his enthusiasm on Instagram, Krasinski posted photos of the cast’s personalized scripts, stating, “So proud to be a part of this family… old and new! Here we go!”

Following the tradition of the mainline films, Krasinski will return to the director’s chair, working from his own screenplay. This fourth entry in the franchise follows the successful 2024 prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One. Since its inception eight years ago, the series has evolved into a juggernaut of the sci-fi horror genre, amassing a global box office total of $900 million and inspiring the recent video game adaptation, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.

Fans won’t have to wait long for cameras to start rolling. Principal photography for A Quiet Place Part III is reportedly scheduled to begin in New York this spring, with a definitive theatrical release date set for July 30, 2027.
