The Wolf Among Us to Get October Remaster With Cut Scenes and Noir Mode
The remaster of Telltale’s cult adventure game will get updated visuals and a noir mode.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches on October 29, 2026. It includes updated graphics, improved audio, a noir mode, and five playable scenes that were cut from the original game.
The remaster keeps the story and direction of the original game. The changes focus on technical improvements, bug fixes, and previously unreleased material.
The developers reworked character models, textures, and environments, updated animations, remastered the soundtrack, and improved dialogue audio. They paid particular attention to the Woodlands complex, whose interiors now have a Victorian look that contrasts with the grimy alleys of 1980s New York.
Noir mode lets players work through the investigation in black and white, with deep shadows and high contrast. Players can switch back to the original neon colors if they prefer.
The main extra for fans is the five full scenes cut from the original. One is an alternate ending to the Anderson Street episode, in which Bigby has to cover his tracks as the police arrive. The release also includes a behind-the-scenes video of more than an hour, featuring voice actors, artists, and DC representatives.
