A Bird Story brings its wordless journey to Switch, PlayStation and Xbox
A Bird Story is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, publisher Serenity Forge has announced. The console release is priced at $3.99 in the US and arrives alongside free updates for the Steam version.
Created by Kan Gao and Freebird Games, the roughly hour-long adventure follows a lonely boy who rescues an injured bird. Everyday scenes blend with imagined ones as the bird recovers and the two form a friendship.
The story uses pixel animation and music without text or dialogue. Gao, also the creator of To the Moon and Finding Paradise, composed its soundtrack. Serenity Forge has released a new trailer for the console launch.
