Solo indie developer behind the co-op horror game Fearwoods has shared that over 13,000 players explored the game during the recent Steam Next Fest demo event. The developer is now preparing a series of gameplay updates based on community feedback.
Fearwoods is a cooperative multiplayer horror experience where players investigate a mysterious forest filled with supernatural threats. The Next Fest demo attracted a strong community response, with players praising the atmospheric tension and cooperative mechanics.
Based on the feedback gathered during the demo period, the developer has announced upcoming improvements to AI behavior, environmental storytelling elements, and quality-of-life features that players requested most frequently.
