Zayn Malik shares photos from daughter Khai’s 6th birthday

Zayn Malik celebrated his daughter Khai turning 6 years old with a party at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Tuesday, September 22.

The former One Direction member shared photos from the celebration on Instagram, showing Khai and her friends enjoying attractions such as Nickelodeon Universe and Hasbro Arcade.

“Khai’s 6th birthday this weekend!! Big thank you to everyone who made it extra special,” Malik wrote in his caption.

“The girls had the BEST time!” he added.

Photos included a picture of Malik lighting candles on a four-tiered Squishmallows-themed birthday cake created by The London Baker, which he called epic. The event featured rainbow streamers, a balloon arch, and a Squishmallows sign. Presents included a National Geographic bug habitat and a butterfly-growing kit.

Malik and supermodel and entrepreneur Gigi Hadid welcomed Khai in September 2020 before splitting in October 2021 after dating on and off for several years. Both parents have largely kept their daughter out of the public eye.

Malik discussed his relationship with Hadid earlier this year on the Call Her Daddy podcast, stating that he will always love her and respects her as the mother of his child.

“I will always love G, because she is the reason my child is on this Earth, and I have the utmost respect for her,” Malik said.

Hadid spoke about their co-parenting approach in a 2023 interview with The Sunday Times, noting that she coordinates her work schedule around Khai’s time with Malik.
