Zach Bryan has been officially tapped to headline the EA Sports Presents Madden Bowl, stepping in for Luke Combs. Combs recently withdrew from the high-profile performance as he and his wife, Nicole, prepare for the imminent arrival of their third child.

EA Sports shared the news via Instagram, stating: “Update: Luke has to hold it down at home with a new one on the way. All love for Luke and his family — and we can’t wait to put on an unforgettable #MaddenBowl with @zachlanebryan leading an incredible night of music and football for the fans.”

A Star-Studded Lineup in San Francisco

The event is scheduled to take place on February 6 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Joining Bryan on the stage is a diverse roster of talent, including Teddy Swims, Stephen Wilson Jr., Gavin Adcock, and West Coast rapper LaRussell. This musical celebration serves as a massive precursor to Super Bowl LX, which kicks off February 8 in Santa Clara, featuring a showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

Speaking on the upcoming show, Teddy Swims shared his excitement with Billboard. “The last year has been surreal for me, and bringing that energy to Chase Center for Madden Bowl is a dream! Football, the Super Bowl, and Madden are such a big part of how people come together, and music is always right there with it,” Swims remarked. “EA Sports has put together an incredible lineup, and I can’t wait to take the stage!”

How to Watch the Madden Bowl

The festivities begin with the “blue carpet” at 7 p.m. PT, hosted by New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston and acclaimed sports broadcaster Kay Adams. Fans worldwide can tune in via EA Sports’ official social media channels to catch the full broadcast.

John Reseburg, VP of Marketing, Partnerships, and Communications for EA Sports, emphasized the significance of this year’s location. “With Super Bowl LX in the backyard of our global headquarters, this year truly feels like a home game for us,” Reseburg stated. “This will be our biggest presence ever… a celebration of the fans, athletes, creators, and music shaping the culture of football.”

Zach Bryan enters this headlining slot at the peak of his career. He recently secured his second consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his 2026 release, With Heaven on Top, which debuted at the summit of the all-genre albums chart.
