Xbox Chief Promises to Restore Console Owners’ Trust and Alter Game Pass
Microsoft Gaming head Asha Sharma stated that Xbox is “climbing out of a big hole” while detailing plans to restore console owner trust and revamp Game Pass.
During an internal Microsoft Town Hall meeting, Asha Sharma discussed the current state of the brand and its strategy for the coming years. According to her, Xbox is once again showing dynamic growth. Certain metrics have improved two to three times, the decline in the time users spend on consoles has stopped, and positive sentiment toward the brand has grown by nearly a third over the past year.

Sharma paid special attention to console owners. She stated that the company has no “moral or business right” to expand into other markets if it cannot first properly care for the most dedicated users of its home device.
Changes will also affect Game Pass. According to the head of the gaming division, the current subscription model led to sharp fluctuations in Microsoft’s financial performance. In the future, the service should become more flexible, allowing players to choose individual content packages according to their preferences.
