On the official forums, Baenura seen a brand new battle pet named Uuna within the Legion PTR. Uuna is the ghost of a lifeless Dranei youngster, which is in itself a little bit of a darkish factor to take into battle with you, however there’s extra. Her description reads:

“One of the numerous youngsters thought misplaced within the battle for Argus, solely to seek out themselves infused into an Ur’zul.”

The Shackled Ur’zul was confirmed some time in the past as 7.three’s new mount – it’s going to drop from the ultimate boss of the brand new raid. Here’s its description according to Wowhead:

“Formed from the tormented our bodies and souls of fallen members of the Army of the Light, the Ur’zul is each fascinating and horrifying.”

It appears Baenura’s conclusion is correct: Legion’s 7.three patch will add a rideable mount constructed from lifeless folks, not less than one among which is a toddler. In equity, Baenura acknowledges such grim lore is not unprecedented: Thaddius, one of many bosses within the Lich King’s flying citadel Naxxramas, can also be made of ladies and kids.

Personally I like my fiction darkish and gritty, however maybe that is why it has been ages since I final performed WoW – one thing so grim does appear an odd match with Blizzard’s customary family-friendly aesthetic.
