Over the years, World of Trucks events have evolved into a cornerstone of our collective journey. Whether we were venturing through new territories in our Cruising series, bolstering international logistics in Trade Connections, reconstructing vital infrastructure in Operation Genoa Bridge, or getting lost in the seasonal charm of the Witches of Brackenreach and Woven Wonders of Winterland, every occasion has fostered a unique sense of camaraderie and excitement.
Today, we want to inform our #BestCommunityEver that we will be taking a strategic hiatus from our World of Trucks event schedule.
This intermission is a vital step in our development process. To elevate these experiences, we need to dedicate time to modernizing the underlying systems and technical infrastructure. This involves a comprehensive overhaul of how events function behind the scenes and, more importantly, how you interact with them as a player.
Our primary objective is to integrate the event experience seamlessly into the game itself. This means you will eventually be able to view and claim rewards, unlock and track achievements, and monitor community milestones—all directly through the in-game interface.
We have several other innovations in the pipeline that we aren’t quite ready to showcase just yet. When the foundation is ready, we will return with your favorite events and a clearer vision of what lies ahead.
Think of this as the groundwork for a more robust future—one that allows us to design events that are more immersive, flexible, and rewarding across a wider variety of formats and durations.
During this period, we remain fully committed to delivering fresh content, updates, and refinements for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. We look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
