Tour Guides: Tourism Jobs

In one of our previous journal entries, we offered an exclusive look at the Quick Jobs and Contract Jobs awaiting you in the upcoming Coaches expansion. However, those are merely the beginning of your passenger-transport journey. Today, we are thrilled to pull back the curtain on an entirely new gameplay tier: Tourist Jobs!

Tourist Jobs deliver a distinct gameplay rhythm, setting themselves apart not only from conventional freight hauling, but also from standard logistics contracts. Embracing the persona of a professional tour bus driver, your primary mission is to transport eager vacationers from bustling metropolitan terminals directly to captivating regional landmarks.

Your itineraries will span a diverse array of destinations, ranging from breathtaking natural landscapes and vibrant city centers primed for sightseeing to occasional industrial complexes offering exclusive guided tours. Naturally, many of these cultural and recreational hotspots operate under strict schedules, meaning arrival times are carefully calibrated to respect local opening hours.

These specialized excursions are categorized by the regional or global renown of the landmark, which dictates the overall distance and duration of the voyage. Upon reaching your destination, you will be treated to a picturesque scenic viewpoint accompanied by an immersive cinematic cutscene. This rewarding touch not only highlights the splendor your passengers came to witness, but also inspires you to explore these hidden gems firsthand in free roam.

To deepen the sense of discovery, many of these panoramic viewpoints feature curated historical or geographical descriptions, allowing you to learn fascinating trivia about the locations you visit.

Once your passengers have thoroughly soaked in the atmosphere, your duty continues as you safely navigate the return trip home. Unlike high-stakes freight contracts, Tourist Jobs prioritize a relaxed, accommodating timetable. This grants you the creative freedom to savor the open road, absorb the majestic vistas, and transform the transit itself into the main attraction.
