The latest Warhammer Skulls showcase has unveiled Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, an atmospheric 2D action title that thrusts players into the shadows as a lethal Skaven operative.
Developed by the team at Old Skull Games and brought to players by publisher Dotemu, the narrative follows Vihneek, an ambitious rat-kin clawing his way through the ranks of the clandestine Eshin clan. To satisfy the bloodthirsty whims of his superiors, Vihneek must navigate a treacherous underworld, proving his lethal capabilities through a series of dark and dangerous missions.
The gameplay centers on fluid, sidescrolling action that rewards tactical precision. Players must master the art of stealth to bypass formidable obstacles, deploy ingenious traps, and manipulate the environment to dismantle their foes. When the element of surprise is lost, Vihneek remains a terrifying combatant, fully capable of carving through enemies in high-stakes melee encounters.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster is scheduled to arrive in 2027, launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, the successor to the Nintendo Switch, and PC.
