Game Balance and System Adjustments

Items and Equipment

  • Lowered the technology unlock requirement for Jetragon-related gear from Level 79 to Level 70, alongside a reduction in required crafting materials.
  • Adjusted the Aquatic Construction Kit: the technology unlock requirement has dropped from Level 66 to Level 23, the Ancient Technology Point cost has been lowered from 4 to 1, and overall material and workload costs have been rebalanced.
  • Extended the active duration of World Tree Holy Water.
  • Decreased the item weight of World Tree Holy Water from 1 down to 0.1.
  • Integrated World Tree Holy Water into rewards for World Tree expeditions, World Tree fishing expeditions, and Large Fishing Pond activities.
  • Increased the yield of World Tree Holy Water obtained from defeating or capturing Pals in the World Tree region.
  • Boosted the output of World Tree Holy Water harvested from Teafant Spring.
  • Rebalanced the crafting workload required for the entire Ancient Armor set.
  • Doubled the baseline amount of Fiber gathered from trees.

Bases and Missions

  • Reduced the construction resource costs for the Crude Oil Extractor, High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor, and Large Power Generator.
  • Accelerated the crude oil extraction rate for both standard and high-pressure extractors.
  • Base missions requiring the construction of a Crude Oil Extractor can now be successfully progressed by building a High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor instead.

Server Settings

  • Introduced a new server configuration parameter (bAllowEnemyCampSpawnNearBaseCamp) allowing server administrators to disable the suppression of enemy camp spawns in the immediate vicinity of player bases.

Visual and Sound Improvements

Graphics and Display

  • Enhanced boundary visibility in select regions, making borders much easier to discern from a distance.
  • Improved rendering quality and asset clarity for various objects inside dungeons.

Sound

  • Added a dedicated sound effect when consuming World Tree Holy Water.

Major Bug Fixes

Crashes and Progression Blockers

  • Resolved an issue where story progression could permanently stall if the barrier in Sunreach was removed prior to accepting the main mission.

Multiplayer and Co-op

  • Fixed a co-op bug where client-side lighting would occasionally render incorrectly following cutscenes or ending sequences.
  • Mitigated stutters and performance drops during the transition cutscene when entering the World Tree area in multiplayer sessions.
  • Resolved an issue on dedicated servers where players could inadvertently trigger Fast Travel during active Tower Boss encounters.
  • Fixed a desync bug on dedicated servers causing summoned Pals to appear to vibrate or jitter rapidly on clients’ screens.

Pals and NPCs

  • Fixed a bug where summoned Pals would occasionally become unresponsive and halt combat.
  • Resolved an issue where active Pals would stop contributing to base automation and tasks.
  • Fixed a multiplayer visual bug where Partner Skills (such as Orserk’s) failed to update their cooldown or activation status correctly in the UI, falsely appearing unused.
  • Corrected an issue where Alpha Surfent failed to drop Leather when assigned to work in a Ranch.

Battles and Bosses

  • Fixed an issue where specific raid boss encounters could lock up and fail to progress as intended.
  • Corrected a hitbox discrepancy where Panthalus’s visual shockwave effects did not accurately match the active damage range.

Bases and Building

  • Fixed alignment detection errors for stairs and slanted roofs that caused them to misalign with their physical models.
  • Resolved a placement bug preventing stairs from snapping correctly to the sides of foundations and roofs.

Items and Rewards

  • Corrected reward drop tables for standard Moon Lord encounters and Ultra Raid Boss battles to match intended design specifications.
  • Patched an exploit that allowed players to duplicate items under specific, repeatable conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where activating Katress’s Partner Skill while mounted and switching Pal spheres simultaneously could reward the player with an unintended sphere type.
  • Resolved a visual bug where the World Tree Holy Water buff effect failed to render properly on mounted Pals.
  • Fixed a persistent visual glitch where approaching trees in the World Tree zone after the World Tree Holy Water buff expired would cause the aura to re-trigger indefinitely.
  • Corrected an improper reward configuration linked to desert expeditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dark Skill Fruit: Psycho Gravity was missing from the item search menu.
  • Resolved a bug where sphere launchers lacked a properly defined firing interval.

UI, Display, and Text

  • Fixed an issue where custom resolution settings failed to apply properly while running the game in exclusive fullscreen mode.
  • Resolved a bug where toggling window modes using F11 or Alt+Enter would force the game back into fullscreen upon loading a save.
  • Fixed a visual bug where specific particle effects active while aiming would cause the entire screen to blur excessively.

Sound

  • Restored missing ambient water sound effects at Teafant Spring.
  • Fixed a dedicated server issue where the background music for Attack Choppers triggered by other players would play globally across the map regardless of distance.
  • Rebalanced the audio attenuation range for Attack Choppers so the theme only plays appropriately for players who currently have a Wanted status.
  • Eliminated misplaced footstep audio cues that triggered when traversing furniture or facility structures.

Controls

  • Fixed a bug where resetting controls to default values failed to revert custom keybindings assigned to the “Attack that enemy!” command.
  • Resolved an issue where interacting with confirmation prompts and duplicate key warnings would unintentionally apply control settings.

Map and Exploration

  • Fixed a graphical glitch where shoreline textures and beach-like surfaces would linger on the water’s surface after Fast Traveling to an offshore base.
