Um, Actually Season 11 Trailer: Fan Favorites Return for Tournament of Champions

Dropout’s celebrated geek-culture game show, Um, Actually, is slated to debut its eleventh season later this month, bringing back an array of community favorites. This upcoming chapter also marks the long-awaited return of the Tournament of Champions, a competitive format that has been absent from the series since its inaugural season.

Dropout mainstay Brennan Lee Mulligan, Critical Role’s Matthew Mercer, and Ghost of Yōtei lead Erika Ishii are among the heavy hitters squaring off in the Tournament of Champions. This elite bracket pits former winners against one another to determine the ultimate pedant. The Season 11 roster also features Zac Oyama, Ally Beardsley, Jordan Myrick, Angela Giarratana, Jarvis Johnson, and Oscar Montoya. Additionally, Dimension 20 icons Emily Axford and Brian Murphy will join forces for a unique tag-team episode featuring three competing pairs.

Ify Nwadiwe returns for his third season as the show’s charismatic host, accompanied by Brian David Gilbert in the role of the meticulous fact-checker. Distinct from traditional trivia shows, Um, Actually tasks its contestants with spotting intentional inaccuracies in statements regarding movies, gaming, and literature. To successfully claim a point, players must preface their correction with the mandatory phrase, “Um, actually.” Enthusiasts can also recreate the experience at home with the official Um, Actually… Board Game.

Season 11 of Um, Actually launches on Tuesday, Jan. 20. New installments will be available to stream every two weeks on Dropout.tv.
