Troye Sivan and Role Model preview Troye Sivan’s new track Cowboy

Troye Sivan teamed up with Role Model for a TikTok video set to “Cowboy,” a track from Sivan’s newly released album She’s the Best. Sivan shared the clip Tuesday (Oct. 13) with two cowboy emojis and tagged Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury.

In the video, the two musicians dance to the song. Pillsbury previously used the alter ego Saint Laurent Cowboy before adopting his new alter ego, Chuck Timely, making a song called “Cowboy” fitting for his evolving identities.

Pillsbury shared the TikTok to his Instagram Story. In another Story slide, he reposted a fan’s X post featuring the pair with the caption, “I love Clairo and Troye Sivan!” He added “SAN DIEGO TONIGHT” to the post to reference his tour stop in the city.

The reference to Clairo stems from a running joke in Role Model’s fandom where Pillsbury uses different celebrity names, such as Sabrina Carpenter and Harry Styles.

Role Model’s Chuck Timely & The Hourglass reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in August following his breakout work, Kansas Anymore.

Sivan’s She’s the Best follows his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other, which debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with tracks like “Rush,” “One of Your Girls” and “Got Me Started.” She’s the Best will impact next week’s Billboard charts.
