Brandi Carlile’s 2027 Girls Just Wanna Weekend Lineup to Feature Headliners Kelly Clarkson, Sierra Ferrell

Brandi Carlile is bringing back her female-centered Girls Just Wanna Weekend for its eighth annual edition at Mexico’s Barcelo Maya Resort from January 14 to 18.

Carlile will perform as a headliner alongside Kelly Clarkson and Sierra Ferrell. The lineup also features The Beaches, CMAT, Allison Russell, Brandy Clark, Lucius, Titans of Americana, Arroba Nat, Tish Melton, SistaStrings, Autumn Nicholas, The Carlile Family Band, The Marshgrass Mamas, and comedian Kristin Key.

Clarkson serves as a coach on The Voice and wrapped a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in August. Ferrell recently released the new songs “Trying to Love You” and “Pair of Dice,” which are her first original releases since her 2024 album Trail of Flowers.

Produced by 100x Hospitality, the festival offers an all-inclusive experience spanning four days of music, artist-curated activities, workshops, Brandi-oke, and off-site excursions.

Carlile founded Girls Just Wanna Weekend in 2018. Past lineups have featured all-female and nonbinary artists including The Chicks, Shania Twain, Sam Smith, Janelle Monáe, Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Muna, Tanya Tucker, Sara Bareilles, Wynonna, Yola, Wendy & Lisa, Maren Morris, Patty Griffin, and Celisse.

Since its inaugural event, the festival has built a reputation for providing a safe and inclusive environment for attendees, with a specific focus on welcoming its predominantly LGBTQ+ audience.

Carlile recently released her album Returning to Myself and followed it with Returning to Myself (Sad Gay Version), which features reimagined versions of all 10 songs from the project, a collaboration with Jon Hopkins, and a new spin on Billy Joel’s “And So It Goes.”
