Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Demo Released One Month Ahead of Launch

Publisher GungHo has released a playable demo for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter across PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, allowing players to transfer their save progress into the full game.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter continues the storyline from the series’ opening entry. The remake of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, released last year, achieved solid sales and strong reception among genre enthusiasts.

The full release is scheduled for September 17 on PS5, PC, and both versions of the Switch. The publisher has made the demo available immediately across all of these platforms.

Due to Nintendo policy, Switch 2 owners will not receive a dedicated demo build and will instead access the original Nintendo Switch version. Save data created in the demo can be carried over directly to the final game.

The story picks up the journey of Estelle and Joshua. Estelle must face Enforcers from the Ouroboros organization as the country verges on catastrophe, forcing her to take fate into her own hands against an enemy whose ambitions reach far beyond her expectations.
