Tony Hawk is engaged on a brand new sport, and never with Activision

There’s probably a brand new Tony Hawk sport in works, with out Activision’s involvement.

The most up-to-date Tony Hawk sport, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, was very poorly acquired. The business response was as tepid as the sport’s crucial one, so it’d be protected to imagine we’re not getting any extra Pro Skater video games for some time.

However, we could also be mistaken, as the person himself lately confirmed there may very well be one thing within the works, and it gained’t even come from sequence writer Activision.

“Not from Activision. I’m potentially working on something but it’s so early I couldn’t talk about it,” Tony Hawk informed Jenkem Magazine (through Destructoid).

“I don’t have any contracts signed but it’s exciting. I feel like it’s with the right people so I should know more in the next couple months,” he added.

It’s attention-grabbing Hawk confirmed Activision isn’t on board, because it may imply the IP was offered to a different writer. Either that or the brand new sport could merely not have the Pro Skater identify, if it’s extra of a religious successor of some kind.

If you had been hopeful, you’d most likely assume the recent Skate 4 tease is connected, although that’s a bit reaching. Still, what if the following Skate sport goes to have Tony Hawk’s enter?
